Pathogen Identification via Sequencing and Amplification for Central Nervous System Infection (PISA-CNS)
Based on high-multiplex targeted amplification and NGS technology, PISA-CNS can perform a semi-quantitative analysis of 178 pathogen nucleic acids at once, including 52 bacteria, 25 fungi, 13 special pathogens (Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Rickettsia),22 DNA viruses, 55 RNA viruses and 11 parasites . It is suitable for pathogen identification of suspected CNS infection patients with poor empirical treatment effects, light, moderate or severe disease, and immune deficiency (suppression). The samples included cerebrospinal fluid(CSF), brain tissue, brain puncture fluid, and drainage fluid.
