GensLab Tethys is designed with a itegrated dual-motor, allowing for oscillation and grinding in both vertical and horizontal directions. It utilizes the rolling impacts of grinding beads and collisions between shear force layers to effectively lyse microbial cells to release nucleic acids. Up to 24 samples can be milled simultaneously in 3 minutes rapidly and efficiently. The system can be applied to thermosensitive materials and biological fields and it is suitable for plant, animal, bacterial and yeast samples.
